Biography

Hi! My name is Jason Wendelin and I am very excited to begin my first year of teaching at Joslyn!  I was raised in Gretna, NE, so I grew up in the Omaha area.  I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in December 2016.  I couldn't be happier to get to know your wonderful kids and see them progress as capable students.

What's Happening?

March 20-24th

NeSA season is upon us.  During this time it is important that you are keeping up-to-date with what your students are doing in class.  Helping them to review math facts and reading each day would be a great help!

Picture day is Tuesday, March 21st, so make sure your child dresses to impress! :)

Math - This week we are wrapping up our unit on volume and area.  We will review on Wednesday and our test will be Thursday.

Social Studies - We have begun learning about the ancient Mesoamerican civilizations. First up, the mayans!  We will be looking at the Mayan culture and paying special attention to their social class structure and beliefs.
